Calling on all players, parents and supporters of AOMCC to do something which everyone should attempt in their lifetime; something which has a massive sense of achievement once complete and something which at the end of the road, you can honestly say “I’ve done my very best and now I want to see the impact I’ve made”…

On Sunday 29 April 2012, the Greater Manchester Marathon is returning to Trafford after a 10 year interlude and Ashton on Mersey CC have entered a team into the race! Mark Timms, Steve Hart and Jody Timms have entered on behalf of the cricket club, hoping to complete the Marathon in one piece!

And what should make this even more appealing is the charity/organisation which we have decided to run for, is something which we all have an interest in, either as a parent, player or cricket enthusiast and it’s something that when the money
has been raised and collected – the money raised will go towards the Junior Cricket Section.
