Nat West Cricket Force Day - Saturday 10th April (from 9am)

This years NAT WEST CRICKET FORCE date has been set – SATURDAY 10th APRIL 2010 (from 9am). For the benefit of those who haven’t been before, Nat West sponsor a nationwide event for all cricket clubs to hold a pre season working party to get their club ready for each new season. There are over 30 jobs that have been identified as needing to be done falling into the 4 categories

- BUILDING
- PAINTING
- CLEANING
- PROJECTS

The projects include kitting out a new dedicated umpires room (the old safe /
storage room), building a screening area in the new nets (behind the bowlers
arm) and replacing parts of one of the sightscreens. Members are asked to
bring painting clothes, gardening gloves, spades and any DIY equipment you
have which may be helpful. Parents, juniors, members, families and friends
all welcome. Food and drink will be provided. Both United and Little City are
playing on the Sunday that weekend. In the event of inclement weather the day
will still go ahead, several of the jobs are indoors anyway.
