Ashton on Mersey CC are a Community Amateur Sports Club, run by volunteers in Ashton on Mersey, in South Manchester.

The club is situated on the banks of the river Mersey, in an idyllic location and we are fortunate to enjoy some of the best on and off field facilities in Cheshire! Between 2016 and 2018 our Bar and Function Room underwent a significant refurbishment, as did our Beer Garden. Making it a wonderful place to play and watch cricket! Our club is fully accessible and we have ample parking available, including several Disabled parking spaces.

We currently have 5 Senior sides:
1st XI (Cheshire County Cricket League Division 2)
2nd XI (Cheshire County Cricket League Division 2
3rd XI (Cheshire County Cricket League East Division 2)
Over 40s XI (Cheshire County Cricket League Central)
Women’s XI (Cheshire Women’s Cricket League Division 2)

We are passionate about providing opportunities for children to play cricket and have an excellent track record of producing home grown talent! Our coaching is delivered by a team of ECB qualified coaches, many of whom are regulars in our Senior Teams.

Currently, we have Junior teams competing in the South Manchester Junior Cricket League at the following age groups:
All Stars
U-9 and Dynamos
U-11
U-13
U-15

Junior Training take place on Wednesday and Friday evenings during the Summer.
