Our Junior Section
We are passionate about providing opportunities for children to play cricket and have an excellent track record of producing home grown talent.
New players are always welcome, regardless of whether they are a beginner or have played before!
Our Juniors benefit from fun, interactive and highly structured coaching, which delivered by our team of ECB qualified and DBS checked coaches, many of whom are regulars in our Senior Teams.
Junior Age Groups
Currently, we have Junior teams competing in the South Manchester Junior Cricket League at the following age groups:
- U-9 (School Years 3 & 4)
- U-11 (School Years 5 & 6)
- U-13 (School Years 7 & 8)

The cost to join as JUNIOR MEMBER has been suspended for 2020 due to the COVID pandemic, therefore, please contact the club for more information.
If you’re joining as a Junior Member for the first time, we appreciate that you want to be confident that we’re the right club for you before making a payment. With this in mind, we don’t ask for payment until after your first two weeks.
Junior Training
In 2020, our Junior Training will take place on Wednesday and Friday evenings.
Wednesday – U13 – 6.30-8.00pm
Friday – U9 – 5.30-6.30pm
Friday – U11 – 6.50-7.50pm

AoM Academy
Alongside Junior Training, we also run the ‘AoM Academy’, which is open to all Juniors from U-11 up. The Academy sessions have been suspended during the COVID pandemic, but usually take place on Tuesday evenings between 6:30-7:30pm and are focused on providing small group and 1-2-1 coaching for our most enthusiastic and committed Junior cricketers.
